Substituting BRY-97 for American Ale II (1272) yeast and adjusting hops to brewgr formula for ~65 IBU.
1.Calculate mash water volume at 1.5 qt water per lb grain
2.Mash at 154F for 60 Minutes, Vorlauf and Lauter
3.Batch sparge at 168F for 15 Minutes
4.Volauf and Lauter to reach 6.5 gallon wort to
5.60 min. boil, Hop schedule 60/30/2
6.Cool to 70F, transfer to primary, aerate, and pitch yeast
7.Ferment in primary for 7 days
8.Transfer to keg, cold crash for 1 day
9.Carbonate to 2.0 – 3.0 volumes of CO2 (moderate-high) and enjoy!

I brewed this up right to the recipe - drinking it now (9 days after brew day) and it's great. not a perfect taste clone for Dale's Pale, but quite delicious. this quick brew is perfect since we're going to suck this down fast and need another batch ready when the keg taps out!
