this brew gets better with age! Nice standard, crisp beer with just a bit of hops. Consider adjusting per notes below and brewing in Winter to give time to age so it's ready to take on on Spring camping trip.
achieved the balance of hops I was hoping for. Did turn out drier than I hoped but overall much better than the cream ale that was a bit lighter flavored even though technically slightly stronger.
Really surprise how well this turned out. Actually has some mildly sweet after notes. Great flavor for a lighter style brew. Next time I'll try with more two row instead of sugar, and some 20L instead of 10L. I think i'll just cascade and saaz each at 60 and 15 to increase IBUs slightly.
Got a sample while racking to secondary. Very clean taste with just the flavor I was looking for, albeit a bit lighter. Added ae, should be a very dry beer.
