I spent days on the internet researching a clone for Yuengling beer. There is a lot of input from novice brewers that are guessing. I finally came up with this grain bill and hop schedule. When the beer was done lagering I filled a growler and marched up to see the great folks @ Chicago Brew Werks where I purchased my ingredients. With a fresh can of Yueling and a growler of the clone, 10 glasses were filed side by side for taste testing. The only comment that was made was that the clone had a wink more bitterness than the real McCoy. Oter than that, the color and taste was spot on. If you are looking for a great beer from the oldest brewery in America, then you will want to try this one. Thanks to Brandon, Bob and the rest of the crew at CBW for the great work! Balcherbrewer
