Notes:
I forgot to amend my previous tasting notes while this beer was still around, but there was some hop character, which was mostly herbal and nearly minty, or wintergreen. Sounds weird but was quite complimentary to the roasty/chocolatey flavor.
Notes:
Tasted after 6 days in the bottle. Not bad! Carbonation is still low, needs more time in the bottle. Light bodied, tastes a bit "weak," but nice flavor and aroma of coffee, freshly baked bread and a hint of un-sweetened chocolate. I think it is well balanced with just enough bitterness, and really no detectable hop flavor. In the future I would raise the gravity.
