Mash Steps

Pour grain into water
Decoction

60 min

Special Instructions

1.
Bring 8 gallons of water to 170 degrees
2.
The transfer 3 gals to mash tun while pouring grain in-stir to make sure no dough balls form

Let set for 60 mins; temp should hold around 150
4.
Vorlof
5.
Sparge with Hot water from hot liquor tank with 5 gallons
6.
After sparge-transfer to boil kettle
7.
Bring to running boil-add hops for 60 min boil
8.
Then chill the wort to 70 degrees or below ASAP
9.
Once chilled-transfer to fermenter
10.
Pitch yeast
