Special Instructions

1.
mashed specialty grains at 156-158 degree F for 45 min. sparged with hot water, added extracts.
2.
1-2 gallons of maple sap replacing water. started around 15 gallons total after sparging. Started 60 minute boil after reduced to 14 gallons. total 12.25 gallon at end. a little burn on bottom was noted. some oats fell into pot, most were removed.

maple syrup added at 10 minutes remaining.
4.
took about 7 hours, start to finish. 3 AM start, roughly 11 AM completed.
