I did a 2 step decoction. Using 2 bottles of Octoberfest White labs lager WLP820
I forgot to take the reading before I added the yeast. I'm sure this effects the reading but not sure how. I am apps 9 points off.
Dry hopped to secondary.
I also did a ice bath while immersion chilling. I am lagering on chocolate nibs at 35F for 2 1/2-3 months. This was good by Thanksgiving day but it got even better by Christmas.Great color,and head.Will definately brew this again next year.
