Special Instructions

1.
Start 5 gallons of water to strike temp of 168
2.
Add 1 Tsp Gypsum, 0.5 Tsp CaCL to 100 PPM Chloride, 175 PPM Sulfate (for total 5 gallons water)

60 Min Mash 5 Gallons Water at 151 degrees
4.
Add Grain
5.
Add Rice Hulls (lots of rice hulls)
6.
Start 5 gallons of water to strike temp of 170
7.
Add 1 Tsp Gypsum, 0.5 Tsp CaCL to 100 PPM Chloride, 175 PPM Sulfate (for total 5 gallons water)
8.
Sparge 4.5 Gallons water at 170 to collect total 6.5 gallons
9.
90 Min Boil (hops at 60)
10.
Add Whirlfloc tablet at 15 Minutes left in boil
11.
Whirlpool @ 180F for 30 mins
12.
Cool wort to 66F and pitch yeast starter
13.
TAKE ORIGINAL GRAVITY
14.
Tape on temperature sensor
15.
Ferment @ 66 for 3 days then then allow to rise to 72 for another 10
