Special Instructions

Aug 08/21 710am: Mashed in w/ 15.75L, 2.5g each CaCl2 and CaSO4, 5ml phosphoric

Hit 68c mash, 45 minutes.

Sparged w/ 19.75L, 2.8g each CaCl2 and CaSO4, 5ml phosphoric
4.
59c mashbed 78c water for 71c mashout. 20 minutes.
5.
Soaked .25oz of dry juniper berries (in teabag) in 2oz vodka.
6.
4oz of spruce tips (from frozen) in 2 bags at 5 minutes and let steep.
7.
Aug 08/21 1pm: Pitched into 29c wort. Into FC set to 33c.
8.
Aug 09/21 7am: Removed juniper teabag from vodka.
9.
Aug 09/21 7pm: Added 30g Anhydra dehydrated grapefruit to the juniper vodka.
10.
Aug 09/21 8pm: Added 3oz frozen spruce tips (no bag) and juniper/grapefruit mixture to FV at 35c.
11.
Aug 11/21 5pm: Stopped heating. Beer at 36c.
12.
Aug 29/21: Bottling day! 20.5L at 36c w/ 6.53oz dextrose for 2.7 volumes.
13.
Heating bottles at 34c to start
