Mash Steps

Special Instructions

1.
Steep Grains 20 minutes between 150-165 F in 6 gallons of water, let drain naturally while raising to boil temperature
2.
Bring to gentle boil, add all DME, LME and Maltodextrin continuously stirring.
3.
Add 2.4 oz. Willamette hops let boil 15 minutes, add another 2.4 oz. Willamette hops let boil 35 minutes, add 1 Whirfloc tablet let boil 5 minutes finally add 2.4 oz. pumpkin spice and let boil 10 minutes, then terminate boil.
4.
Cool wort to 70 F add enough water for approximately 6 gallons checking OG
5.
Pitch yeast and allow 7 days, check FG and transfer to secondary fermenter for additional 14 days
6.
Bottling day add 12 oz priming sugar to 2 cups boiling water. Pour in bottling bucket, transfer beer and bottle
7.
Store beer for at least 2 weeks in dark warm area between 64-72 F.
