Special Instructions
1.double or triple procedure to meet wort volume as required (hint use a large enough fermenter to accommodate a gallon or more)
2.Sanitize 1000 ml flask, 3 gallon carboy, aluminum foil, stir bar, stopper, air lock, scissors and yeast packet
3.Boil Water, yeast nutrient and DME for 15 minutes( use an oven mitt, watch closely for bubbles forming and reduce heat to prevent boilover)
4.Rapidly cool wort in an ice batch
5.Sanitize foil, cover, carboy or flask and cool to 22 degrees c
6.Sanitize; Shake the carboy or flask to oxygenate the wort
7.Sanitize airlock; Place covered flask on stir plate for 18 to 24 hours
8.Allow to settle, sanitize and decant 80 % of the clear liquid off the top
9.repeat entire process to achieve desired cell count adding suitable amount of fermentable wort to decanted yeast
10.When wort and starter are at the same temp swirl the starter, sanitize and pour into 3 gallon fermenter
