Preheat Mashtun -1.5 gallons water to near boil Ambient Grain Temp 70F Strike Water Temp - 168.5 F Mash Temp - 154.5F Sparge Water Temp - 175-180F Sparge Water Amount - 20 quarts/5 gallons Water/Grist Ratio - 1.15 (quarts water/1lbs grain) Grain Weight - 8.76 lbs Strike Water volume - 10 qrts/2.92g (heat more) Preboil - 1.040 Est Postboil OG- 1.070 Actual 1.056 Est FG - 1.017 Actual Boil - Pre-Boil Volume -4.16 gal (16.64 quarts) Batch - Post Boil Volume -3.5 gal Consider replacing ground cinnamon with 1/2 stick for boil and 1/4-1/8 stick, in tincture. Less cinnamon the better. It over powers beer At 13 min mark, add 4 g cinnamon stick, 1/2 tsp nutmeg 1/2 tsp all spice in mesh bag Create tincture with 4 oz vodka, spiced rum or bourbon. 1/2 tsp nutmeg, 1/2 tsp vanilla extract, 1/4 stick cinnamon. Let sit for 2-4 weeks. Add to taste in bottling bucket. Add 2 split vanilla pods and 8 - 14 grams of grated ginger (maybe) to bottom of secondary fermenter and transfer ontop for 2-4 weeks 85 g/2.98 oz corn sugar with 3/4 cup boiling water
