Half classic, half funky. Using up the rest of my Pils and Wheat. Hopped one with Sterling, other with Galaxy, but fucked up one of them.. Added a pound of table sugar to each batch.
Batch 1 (Classic):
1oz Sterling @ 60
3 oz Galaxy @ 5
1 oz Sterling @ FO
(Ugh, something like 50-55 IBUs)
Batch 2 (funky):
3oz Galaxy @ 5 min
3 oz Galaxy @ FO
3 oz Galaxy 180*
(Only about 35-40 IBUs)
Cooled both overnight to 73* and pitched slurries. Batch 1 got 700ml of Bootleg Saison Parfait, Batch 2 got 500ml of Omega Coast 2 Coast plus dregs of Casey Saison and Ryan's Mixed Ferm Table Beer (saison/brett driven).
OG Batch 1 (classic): 1049
OG Batch 2 (funky): 1055
Cooled overnight naturally down to 72-73*, pitched on Monday. Classic started fermenting overnight, not funky. Put them outside on Tuesday to warm up, must have spiked in the 90s. Brought back inside on Wednesday evening.
