All Grain American Porter homebrew recipe. This homebrew recipe uses the following ingredients: Maris Otter Pale - UK, Crisp Best Ale Malt - UK, Dark Crystal 80L - UK, Chocolate - UK, Maple Syrup - US, Mosaic Hops, Citra Hops, Fermentis Safale US-05 Homebrew Yeast, Toasted coconut flakes.
1.Mash grains at 67° C for one hour. Ferment at 20° C.
2.After fermentation, preheat oven to 66° C and toast coconut until golden brown (about 40 minutes). Turn the coconut every 10 minutes to ensure even toasting.
3.Rack the beer into an airtight vessel (secondary or Cornelius keg) and add the coconut loose when cool. Give the vessel a good shake every day.
4.Bottle after 12 to 14 days. Prime to achieve 2.0 volumes of CO2.
