Special Instructions

1.
Heat 19 qt water to 180, add to mash tun and bring down to 170
2.
Add all grains to mash tun and cover
3.
After 10min check temp (149-156) if on target mash for 60m
4.
Heat sparge water to 200 (as much as possible)
5.
Collect first drippings, continually add to mash until it runs clear
6.
Sparge for min. 60m to collect 6 gal wort (may have to heat more water)
7.
Take pre-boil SG reading
8.
Begin boil, add hops as per recipe. Boil time 60m
9.
Flame out and add to ice bath and cool to 85
10.
Add to fermentor and continue to cool to 70
11.
Check OG, pitch yeast
