Special Instructions

Brought 1.2 gallons of water up to 161 degrees to mash 3.5 lbs of grain for 1-hour

Sparged grains with 2.75 gallons of 170 degree water and added DME to make 4 gallons of wort

Brought to a boil and followed 60 min hop schedule; added Irish moss at 15 min

After flameout, placed kettle in ice bath and dropped temperature to 80 degrees before topping up with cold water and adding yeast
5.
After fermenting for 2 weeks, took 4 oz of hibiscus and cold steeped overnight before straining, boiling, and adding to keg with beer
