Mash Steps

Special Instructions

1.
Boil 3.60 gal and heat to 169 Degrees
2.
Add the water to mash tun

Add 1 Tbl pH stabilizer
4.
Slowly add grains (Temp should drop to ~ 155 degrees)
5.
Mash for 60 min
6.
While mashing, heat 4.5 gal of sparging water to 168 degrees
7.
Vorlauf
8.
Sparge for appx 1 hr until wort level / pre boil is 6.5 gal
9.
Take 1st gravity reading, then begin 90 min boil
10.
Add 1st hops at 90 min
11.
Add irish moss at 15 min
12.
Add 2nd hops at 10 min
13.
Cool down wort, take 2nd gravity reading, then pitch yeast.
