Special Instructions

Kettle caramelization @ 45 minutes of mash remove 1.25 gallons of wort from mash ton and boil down to 1/4 volume, then add 1.0 gallons from Sparge water to mash ton to replace the water the .625 gallons of boil off

Total water needed 10.44 gallons 1.0 gallon to replace caramelize boil off

Mash in water 5.53 gallons @ 170f (21,000 ml) (168 2 because of cold mash ton)

Sparge water 4.91 gallons @ 170f (18,500 ml)

Brew with no minerals at least the first time

Pre boil wort 7.52 gallons
