Mash Steps

No mash steps in this recipe

Special Instructions

1.
Steep grains at 170F for 30 minutes
2.
Toast 4 oz. Unsweetened coconut flakes for 15 minutes at 350F
3.
Remove grains and add LME until dissolved
4.
Bring to boil and follow Hop Schedule
5.
Cool to 70F and pitch yeast
6.
Primary for 2 weeks @ 65F
7.
Toast 1 lbs. Coconut flakes for 15 minutes at 350F
8.
Secondary for 1 week with coconut (in muslin bag)

Notes:

Can't remember where I found this recipe, but I tried it 10 days after bottling. Still a bit flat but loved the taste. Can't wait until it's really ready!
