Bottled version - Clear amber ale with solid head retention & lacing. Citrus continues to fade, malt and butterscotch now coming through. Bitterness also fading, improved balance however. Prefer this over both a younger bottle and the keg. Additional malt character & less bitterness continues to improve body & mouthfeel. Final bottle. Definite improvement in the bottle with time.
Bottled version - same as keg. Clear amber ale with solid head retention & lacing. Less citrus than the keg, with more floral/fruit notes coming through. Less bitterness than the keg. More balanced but seems to be missing something as a result. Same as keg, aside from less bitterness making the mouthfeel slightly fuller. Still no sign of that ABV. Prefer the keg version, but still a balanced, tasty pale/IPA.
Clear amber ale with solid head retention & lacing. Amarillo all the way - orange/citrus aroma. Grapefruit/citrus with strong bitterness to follow - more bitter than 32 IBU would imply. Good body with no indication of the 7% ABV - a bit deceptive. :) A good drop - could do with another hop addition to round out the hop profile.
