Back-sweetened with 115 grams Equal and 25 grams Splenda (140 grams total). Carbonated like a beer. S.G. was 1.050, F.G. was 1.000. Carbonation added 0.003 points to 1.050 making it 1.053. ABV = 53 * 0.131 = 6.9%! Probably very low in calories.
NOTES: Fermented at room temperature (74F) for two to three weeks. Temperature got up to 78F during fermentation. Tastes ok but no apple flavor. There is some sort of a fruity flavor, but overall it's a disappointment because of the lack of apple flavor. I guess perhaps time will tell. Will *maybe* do another one, perhaps just one gallon, to give the yeast another chance, but fermented in the low 60's this time.
