This was originally intended to be a 3 stage multi stage mash but as it was my first multi, I forgot to stir! Ended up having to remove and cool part of the mash and add cold water to get back to mash temp. However, after that a dry hopping which I intended to be 4 days I changed to 7 to allow more drop time and this definitely worked. Very porter taste and good hoppy finish with great mouth feel. Overall, very pleased.

Notes:

Really pleased! Great mouth feel with nice bitter finish rounded nicely with the hoppy notes. Almost a bitter chocolate aftertaste, great head retention.
