Extract homebrew recipe. This homebrew recipe uses the following ingredients: Dry Malt Extract - Wheat - US, Cascade Hops, White Labs San Diego Super Yeast WLP090 Homebrew Yeast, Yeast Nutrient.
I have a quick question. Why do you hop your starter? I've seen some people who do, and some people who don't. This isn't a complaint, just always looking for things to try :)

#1 - it makes the kitchen smell like a brewery and #2 - If hops have any affect on yeast, it seems like a good idea to let the yeast know what they're about to embark on, though this is not based on any scientific study so it might actually do more harm than good.

Oops. Didn't mean to hit enter. #2 - No worries about harm. I have ready that there are some antiseptic properties in hops that could inhibit infections in your starter.

I hopped my starter for a brew this weekend. The whole place smelled like a mosaic IPA.
