Extract Double IPA homebrew recipe. 3% - Caramel/Crystal 40 - US
2% - Carapils - Dextrine Malt - US
76% - Liquid Malt Extract - Light - US
13% - Dry Malt Extract - Extra Light - US
6% - Dry Malt Extract - Pilsen - US
Fermentis Safale US-05
Whirl-floc (.5 tab @ 5 mins)
No mash steps in this recipe
Steep grains until temp reaches 170F
Put Chiller in Wort @ 15 mins
1/2 tsp. Yeast Nutrient added to boil 15 mins
Add 1/2 tab Whirl-Floc @ 5 mins
Split the Flameout Hops in half and use 1/2 for flameout and the remainder for Hop Stand when
Chill and rack wort to fermenter
Hydrate yeast in 8oz water 95-105F for 15 mins
Aerate wort for 15 minutes
Pitch yeast, seal fermenter, insert airlock
