Notes:

I forgot to mention that the oatmeal was, in my opinion, un-detectable. When I make this recipe again i will probably just substitute an additional pound of base malt for the oatmeal.

Notes:

This beer turned out very well. Definitely my most successful/favorite I've made so far, (in my opinion.) Nothing fancy, but good enough to drink a few at a time. The color came out lighter than I thought, maybe medium gold. Definitely has good clarity. Carbonation is about right, with good head, (2 fingers?) Head doesn't last long, but laces the glass nicely. Aroma is mildy malty with a bit of lemon lime. Flavor is mild, mostly bread-like and a bit malty. No residual sweetness. The level of bitterness and the dryness of the finish really accentuates the flavor which makes me think of eating rye or pumpernickel bread. I would definitely make this recipe again!
