Special Instructions

1.
Mash at 150 for 75 minutes.
2.
Mash out and sparge.
3.
Boil for 90 minutes.
4.
Add 1.6 oz of Styrian Goldings Hop Pellets at 60 minutes.
5.
Add .5 oz of Saaz Hop Pellets at 20 minutes.
6.
Add 1 lb. of Brown Sugar with 5 minutes left in the boil.
7.
OG 1.064

Notes:

AROMA Big banana clove, brown sugar, a little bready, dried orange peel, quiet herbaceous quality APPEARANCE Caramel, 50% head, dissipates but keeps a bit of retention, tin, cloudy FLAVOR Carbonation pops - too harsh, a bit hot, slight creaminess, medium bodied, rich MOUTHFEEL Dry, sweet and alcoholic, decent bitterness OVERALL Okay, could be improved greatly with a few adjustments.
