Based on Barry Masterson's excellent American IPA recipe from The Brewer's Bible; I simply changed the hop schedule, added Oats and Wheat, sugar, molasses...the extra wheat malt addition was inspired by the White Witch IPA by Black Diamond brewing, and the wheat brings the addition awfully close. Cut the hops back about 25% and sunstitute the Nelson for a 'C' hop, and you will probably clone the White Witch.

Special Instructions
1.Mash at 155 F, batch sparge at 176 F. Boil for 60 min. Cool to 75 F, aerate wort then pitch yeast.
2.Ferment 7 days in primary; rack to secondary, add dry hop additions, ferment in secondary 7 days.
3.YEAST= Gigayeast Vermont IPA; attentuates slowly, but it IS actually working! Great yeast.
4.This IPA was double the hops of the recipe originally. I was shooting for a wheat IPA like the White Witch from Black Diamond, my fave - it worked - except next time I promise I WILL cut the hop bill in half!
5.I used Whirlfloc tablet at 15 min. instead of Irish Moss.
