Every year I make several pumpkin beers. This year I used over 5 pounds of canned pumpkin which I roasted for about 30 minutes. I decided to use pumpkin pie spice instead of a mixture of ingredients. I like a big punch of aroma so I used almost a full tbsp. You can always dial it back and add as you go.

1.Roast (2) cans of Libby's 100% pumpkin in oven for 30 min at 350F
2.Mash w/pumpkin at 154F for 60 min
3.Boil for 70 minutes w/hop additions
4.Add (1) can of roasted pumpkin and brown sugar w/5 minutes left in boil
5.Add .5 tbsp McCormicks Pumpkin Pie Spice at flameout
