Decoction

Special Instructions

1.
Steep at 152 for 90 minutes
2.
Boil for 60 minutes
3.
Add hops at boil
4.
Add lactose with 10 minutes left of boil
5.
Add 3 cinnamon sticks with 10 minutes left of boil
6.
Add 4 table spoons of vanilla extract with 5 minutes left of boil
7.
Cool to 68 degrees
8.
Add 3 cinnamon sticks to primary
9.
Ferment at 68 degrees
10.
Add 3 cinnamon sticks to secondary
11.
Ferment at 68 degrees until ready to rack
