Special Instructions

1.
Bring 3 gallons of water to a temp of 131F. Add grains and stir until it looks like oatmeal. Cover lid and let steep at 1131F for 10 minutes.
2.
Increase temperature to 145F, steep for 45 minutes.

Increase temperature to 158F, steep for 20 minutes.
4.
Remove grains and prepare for boil. Drip near dry above the pot. Check gravity (adding water lowers gravity). Target boil volume is 3 gallons.
5.
Add cascade hops at 30 minutes
6.
Boil 60 minutes
7.
Chill to 58F and pitch yeast.
8.
Increase to 168F and mash out for 10 minutes.
