Special Instructions

Strike water - 1.5 gallons to 167F - mash in and hold 154F for 50 minutes
2.
Add 1.25 q water at 212 degrees - hold at 163F for 20 minutes
3.
Add 1.8 q water at 212 degrees - hold at 172 for 20 minutes
4.
Add juniper berries. Rest 10 minutes.
5.
Sparge with 3.5 gallons at 170F
6.
Boil 60 minutes
7.
Add Hallertau hops at 30 minutes of boil
8.
Add Jarrylo hops at 45 minutes of boil
9.
Add licorice root at 45 minutes of boil
