Special Instructions

1.
16.5 lts Mash water. 1 hr at 65C
2.
Then to 70C for 10 mins mash-out. Then up to 77C for sparging
3.
Sparge with 15lts water. Then on to boil. First hops in at 60 mins
4.
Second hops in for 15mins. Half Protofloc tab added for 15 mins too
5.
Hop stand at 72C for 20 mins
6.
23 lts collected - 'Pure Brew' added at the same time as yeast SG 1.050
7.
Yeast collected from last brew at racking and kept as a starter. Added at 18C
8.
Fermenting well 20 hrs later @ 18C
9.
Seven days after brewing - Racked off yeast SG1.014. Fermented slowly at 10C
10.
Bottled on 9th Feb 2023 . Batch primed with 70 gms Dex. SG1000
