Special Instructions

1.
Begin 1.5L starter on 6/11/2015 - Leave on Stir Plate until Saturday Evening
2.
Refrigerate Evening of 6/13/2015 to begin cold crash
3.
Remove from Refrigerator morning of 6/14/2015 to print up to room temperature
4.
Setup Equipment and Fill with 5.5 Gallons of Water.
5.
Once at 130 start Auto-tune.
6.
After auto-tune is compete add 5.1 to stabilize water PH
7.
Mash in at desired strike temperature and remove all dough balls
8.
Slowly Open Valve and turn on pump.
9.
Set controller timer and Mash 70 minutes
10.
In the meantime, Pre-heat 3 gallons of water to 170F for sparge
11.
After 70 minutes set controller to 168F for Mash-Out
12.
Remove Grain Bag and place in 5 gallon pot with sparge water to batch sparge
13.
Once Mash-Out temperature is reached, set timer for 10 minutes turn alarm on
14.
Once alarm goes of plug in second element and turn power to 100%
15.
Remove grain bag from Sparge pot and place in collander on top to drain (squeeze bag as needed)
16.
Add the second running to main kettle and wait for boil
17.
Once hot break passes start timer for 60 min.
18.
Add .75 oz Galaxy hop into Bag and throw in the boil
19.
Begin sanitizing all equipment including Plate Chiller and tubing that will be touching the chilled wort
20.
Begin setting up for plate chiller
21.
Add Whirlfloc tablet at 15 minutes
22.
At 10 Minutes add .25 oz citra/falconers flight/amarillo
23.
At 5 Minutes add .25 oz citra/falconers flight/amarillo
24.
Kill heat at Flameout and add .25 oz orange peels, lemon peel, corriander, ginger citra/falconers flight/amarillo
25.
Turn off controller, and begin running water for the Plate chiller
26.
Slowly open up valve and adjust to proper temperature around 60F
27.
Once everything is transferred shake for 2 minutes to aerate and pitch yeast.
