Special Instructions

1.
Boiled and an hours steeping for the Elderflowers in 3.5lts water. Then drained.
2.
Kit made as instructed with boiling Eldeflower water and cold water to 21 lts
3.
Yeast added at 22C SG1.038 = Good strong fermentation with an orange crust!
4.
Racked to secondary after 4 days.
5.
1 lt of 200gm boiled/steeped elderflowers added at racking SG1.020
6.
Souring yeast added a day later.
7.
SG1.012 25th June, 10 days after making.
8.
Bottled with steeped elderflower water and cordial (22.5 gms sug), 40gms Dex, plus acids
9.
Bottled on 29th June 2022. SG1.010 at bottling
10.
Great taste but over carb'd. Recapped end July 2022
