Added Oxygen before adding yeast. Fermented very nicely. Slight foaming out of gas lock. Continued slowly the third day.
Based on boiling 5.00 gallonsliters at 1.040 for 60 minutes, this will decrease your wort by 1.00 gallonsliters, bringing your after boil OG to 1.048. You wanted an OG of 1.055. It looks like it will be under.
Tastes pretty damn good. you can taste and smell the hops. Light amber in color. Hardly any yeast aroma. I think the O2 aeriation helped.
sweet but could taste the hops. Tasted ok.
