tastes great, hazy, lemony - both from the hops and the lemon zest. Very bright - like a Hefe with a tad of lemon already added!! I likes it!
Sweet, light maltiness, hoppy with a high palate brightness, likely due to lemon zest at end. OG on target. JH suggested adding 1 T. lemon zest instead of hops at beginning as gruit/bittering agent to keep IBUs lower (I did that). Notes: I added 1 T. lemon zest and 1 or 2 T. dried orange peel at FO. Added a cinammon stick and small bits of star anise near FO. Color accurate. A bit hoppy but not overwhelming - I could have done fine with 0.25 oz. hop additions - these were the 2018 Cascade hops from Humboldt, still zesty!
