Mash Steps

Special Instructions

1.
Mash 5.5 gallons @ 160*F for 60 mins (Heat water to 165*F then add to grains)
2.
Continuous sparge @ 165*F until 6.5 gallons collected for boil
3.
Boil for 60 mins (add 1 hop addition of Nugget at 60 mins boil)
4.
Cool to 70*F with immersion chiller
5.
Strain out hop materials into fermentation bucket
6.
Measure OG and pitch yeast
7.
Monitor Gravity and temperature every other day
8.
Once FG is reached, rack into secondary with 2 split vanilla beans and hazelnut extract for 7 days
9.
Add priming sugar and bottle
10.
Bottle condition for 14 days and enjoy! :)
