Mash Steps

Special Instructions

Pour 4.5 Litres of boiling water into mash tun to preheat it

Dump preheat water
3.
75mins Mash-in 7.5L at 73c
4.
Add grain, stir well.

15mins Mash-out 7.5L at 91c (stir)
6.
Collect 1st runnings and (carefully) pour back into mash tun
7.
Pour mash into brew kettle
8.
Sparge 25L at 75c
9.
Take pre-boil reading (allow to cool)
10.
Bring to boil - do not let boil over!
11.
60 min boil - add hops as appropriate
12.
Cool to 22c
13.
Take OG reading
14.
Primary fermenter for 1.5 weeks
15.
Transfer to secondary fermenter and add strawberries (in muslin bag) for 1 week
16.
Take FG reading
