Notes:

Meter only reads 3.6 pH after several days, which isn't as low as hoped. Slight pinkish hue due to guava nectar. Boiled for 30 minutes, dropped to 160* and whirlpooled 2 oz Nelson, ~1/4 oz Galaxy for 30 min. OG 1.074 / BRIX 18 @ 5 gal yield. Pitched starter of Imperial Loki kviek at 85* and set ferm chamber at 85* in hopes of producing fruity esters. Noted krausen and bubbler activity less than 12 hours from pitch.

Notes:

Pulled 5 gal wort from the mash for this beer and then another 1/2 gal for starters. Used maybe 1/2 lb of purple carrot puree in mash for color. Added 1 gal guava nectar (from Costco - water, guava puree, and cane sugar) and 4 shots Goodbelly (yumberry).
