We had 5 gallons of mash water at 156 degrees. However, the temp fell to 136 by the end of the mash. Our strike water temp fell as well due to the lid being left open with striking. We are looking at options to drill a hole in the top of the lid for an internal sprayer for striking. We had 7 gallons of strike water. Fermentation started rapidly after 24 hrs. 1.046 after strike 1.067 at fermentation
