Mash Steps

Special Instructions

1.
Strike Temp of Water 75C. Grain bill in then at 65C for 1 hrs
2.
Temp up to 77C then sparge at same temp.
3.
pH test of mash 4.6
4.
Sugar, salts and citric acid added just before boiling point. Hops as above.
5.
Irish Moss (Britewort) added last 10 mins
6.
Wort chiller inserted for 2 min in boil to sterilize
7.
Chilled water passed through wort chiller for 30 mins. (C)
8.
Wort run into fermentation bin and paddle aerated
9.
Made up to 5 gals(UK) with cold water.
10.
Yeast added at 24C SG1.050
11.
4 days later racked and dry hopped with first batch of Mosaic hops i SG1.012
12.
Second dry hopping with Mosaic 4 days after racking.
13.
Cold crashed for 7 days.
14.
Batch primed with 55gms desx and 12 tabs herm. and bottled on 3rd Nov. 2019
