Notes:
Pours a nice black with good carbonation that gives it a tall tight tan head. Aroma is hoppy with a faint roasted scent in the background. It has a medium body and smooth mouthfeel. Flavor is surprisingly light letting the hops stand out. It starts roasty with a slight sweetness then the hops kick in with a bold bitterness that gives a little hop spice and faint citrus. Aftertaste is more bitterness then it ends with some roasted notes. Overall this is a good Black IPA, still needs a little work but it is good.
