Special Instructions

1.
Hops thrown directly into wort, not in hop bag.
2.
Flameout hops thrown in, temp dropped to ~190F and whirlpooled for 15 min, ending at ~155F. Then temperature dropped using chiller to 70F in about 20 min.

Grains were mashed in a hop bag, in a pot, in a warm oven. It seems the hop bag was too small, greatly reducing mash efficiency.

Wheat extract was measured to be the equivalent sugars of 10% flaked wheat

Bio Dry hops added 4/9, removed 4/13 midday?

4/23-4/26 Dry Hops added
7.
FG as read by refractometer was 1.029, implying a true FG of 1.004, which is ridiculous. Will test again.
