Placed 8.4 gallons of water into pot. Added 19.5 ml of lactic acid, target was 5.2 pH but probably overshot and was in high 4s. Heated water to 157 and added grains, temp was 152. Let the temp drop to 148 overtime and hold for the rest of mash.
