1.4 Gal Water to 167 F
2.Pre Heat Mash Tun with 1 Gal Boiling Water
3.Add Grain to 167 F Water - 154F for 1 Hour Mash
4.Mash Out-Add 2.4 Gal Boiling Water to Mash-Sit 10 min @170
5.Heat 1-2 Gal Water to 170 F for Sparge (other cooler)
6.Verlauf and Sparge til have 6.5 gallons in boil pot
7.Boil Down to 5.5 Gal (Check OG) Target 1.060
8.Cool to 68 F and siphon to fermentation vessel
9.Add Yeast - Dry Hop for 6 days after 8 days in fermenter
10.Transfer to Secondary or Bottle-- FG want 1.011
It really wasn't very carbonated after 2 weeks of conditioning. I will give it more time. A little bitter - not my fav yet - hopefully it will improve. It does seem to have a high alcohol content though. Only need one to feel it.
