After more aging the bitter is where I had expected. Probably could have used a bit more carbonation. It seems just what you would expect, a clean c60 taste. Would be more stars if I liked beer this uncomplicated. Nothing at all wrong with it. Great to see how this worked and will make beers based on it with more specialty grains.
This is a very generic american ale, because I used US-05. Had a used WLP-023 as originally planned I expect it would have been a very generic English ale. It is hoppier than the IBUs would seem to say because of the US-05. Probably popular with people who like "beer that tastes like beer"
