Notes:

Perfect Altbier. Malty, roast, noble hop earthy herbal. Really really good!

Notes:

Hop tea version. Roast and Munich malt flavor has become more apparent with some aging and bitterness has mellowed. A very nice Altbier. Brew a 5 gallon batch!

Notes:

Dry hop version - well balance beer, malty roasts, slightly bready, biscuit flavors with a nice smooth tempered bitterness with some noble Spalt hop herbal and earthy aroma and flavor. Hop tea version - more bitterness and distinct earthy hop notes that tended to dominate more than desired. The hop tea process seems to have added some bitterness that was not desired while also providing the aroma and flavor aspects. Need to account for this added bitterness when using a hop tea and reduce the bittering additions in the boil.
