I sure did. I used 12.5g/l och spruce shoots, I actually don´t know the difference between shoots and needles in this case :). I used frozen shoots (probably doesn´t matter), added them to the boiling wort for 15 minutes. I have done 3 iterations of "spruce beer" using more than 12.5g/l and this is the first one where I think the spruce flavor is not too much in your face, I think you could even go 10g/l and get recognizable spruce flavor.
