Mash Steps

Special Instructions

Mash 3 hours. Grain in @ 55° 1/2 hour @ 60° 4 hrs @ 65°

Sugars, gypsum and citric acid added just before boiling point

First hops in at boiling

Irish Moss added for last 10 mins. of boil
5.
Flame out - last hops in and left to stand for 15 mins
6.
Yeast added at 60° - 12 hrs later SG 1.040

Notes:

Matured and rich ale. Could be a little more bitter with a few more hops, but very nice.
