Mash Steps

No mash steps in this recipe

Special Instructions

1.
Steep grains for 25min at 160° in muslin bag in 2 gal water.
2.
Place grain bag in strainer over brew pot and rinse with 1gal water at 160°.
3.
Bring wort to a boil and add DME. Bring back up to boil and add hops as scheduled.
4.
Cool wort and add cool water to get down to 70° and bring volume up to 5gals
5.
Pitch yeast.

Notes:

This one didn't come out as I wanted. Still has no carbonation at all. Aroma and flavor are still good and even better if I force carbonate. The hops don't show enough although the bitterness on the end is just about right. Will change up the hops a bit and try a heftier yeast.
